Done safely, like-for-like
We replace fixtures and devices using the existing wiring and box. Power off, connections checked, mounted securely. That covers most of what homeowners need. We don't cut corners on anything with electricity behind it.
Where we hand it to an electrician
New circuits, a new fixture where there's no existing box, panel work, or anything that isn't a like-for-like swap is licensed-electrician territory, and we'll tell you so. Honest about what's a handyman job and what isn't.
Honest pricing
$150/hour, one-hour minimum.
$150/hour with a one-hour minimum, then billed in 15-minute increments. Materials are billed separately. We accept cards (a 3% processing fee applies), and 8.375% NY sales tax is added. Members save. See our maintenance plans.
Questions about lighting & fixtures
Most like-for-like fixture or fan swaps are billed at $150/hour with a one-hour minimum. A simple fixture is often within the first hour; a fan or chandelier can take longer.
